Interested in looking like you mean business and your ideas are ahead-of-the-curve?
If so, be sure to add a button-down blouse with a contrasting collar to your wardrobe this New Year. It is the perfect combination of classic and contemporary.
These spirited, eye-catching collars can be found in every fabrication, from dainty lace overlays and tribal stripes to traditional animal prints and more. Others are bejeweled and bedazzled. You might even like to try a kind of reverse contrast wearing a white collar matched with a patterned top. It’s a striking mixture too.
Pair contrasting collared shirts with a suit jacket, a tailored pair of trousers or a pencil skirt for the office, then jeans or tapered pants on the weekend. Simply think of the contrasting collar as an accessory.
Adorned collars certainly have a fresh, modern take on the classic-button down shirt. When you come across one you like, grab it! This is a hot trend and not easy to find. Wear now and you’ll indubitably be ahead in the style game.
What fashion crushes have turned you on lately?
