A Fun (And Easy) Way To Manifest Your Ideal Biz Style Today

Have you heard of vision boards?

You know, those poster, foam or cork boards filled with cut-out images of things you want to have, be or do in your life. The idea is for it to be a visualization tool that helps to manifest your dreams into reality.

A new year is just around the corner, so I thought it would be the perfect time (and super fun!) to start a virtual vision board for our professional style on the job.

I am a firm believer that clothes are a powerful tool in business. We spend so much time and energy and passion engaged in our careers, so why shouldn’t we get all the help we can and use fashion it to its best advantage?!

That’s why I put together a community board on Pinterest. This is a place where you can pin images of how you want to look and feel in your professional life. It will be an on-going, shared, joint effort…a community of women, just like you, who also have a vision.

We all work in so many different fields and have different responsibilities, so the style options will be quite varied and certainly visually exciting. I welcome the inspiration!

I believe doing so will keep these style ideas actively in your mind, so the next time you have to put an outfit together for a sales pitch…you already have an idea of what you want to visually convey to buyers…or you’re looking to get promoted next year, so, now you’ve got a collage of ideas on how you wish to visually communicate your competence and confidence to your boss.

The opportunities are endless. I’m even planning on pinning some inspirational quotes, because I know my mental attitude affects my confidence, my style, my career objectives (and everything else!).

I want your career vision to manifest and be all that you can be and this is a great and simple way to get started!

Here’s how to participate and join in on the fun:

  1. Subscribe to Corporate Fashionista. (It’s free!)

  2. Follow ☆ CorporateFashionista.com ☆ Community Board on Pinterest.**

  3. We will then add you as a contributor.

  4. Accept our group board invitation on your Pinterest homepage (note: sometimes this can take a while to receive).

  5. Begin pinning!

Are you new to Pinterest? Easy directions here and here. Note: adding text descriptions to your image pins is always valuable, but if you prefer to pin without having to add text, if you just want to pin pictures…just add a blank space.

GUIDELINES: inappropriate or back-to-back duplicate pins, spam or destructive comments will be deleted.

**UPDATE: If you would like to be a contributor and follow all of my other boards ( I hope you do!) on Pinterest, you must, first, solely follow ☆ CorporateFashionista.com ☆ Community Board board and then select Follow All boards.
