Got spring style fever?
Me too! I’ve found it nearly impossible (and definitely less fun!) to not wear spring styles right now. There are so many exciting options featured in magazines and online, plus taking a complete pass on all the new cheerful spring colors, seasonal prints and fresh designs currently stocked in stores just seems like a missed opportunity.
Thankfully, Punxsutawney Pennsylvania’s groundhog, Phil, did not see his shadow over the weekend, signaling an early spring.
The problem is…brr, it’s still cold outside!
The easiest way to cure a case of spring style fever, despite the cold weather, is to make the transition slowly and begin incorporating simply one spring piece into your work and weekend outfits now.

Move over cheesy holiday sweaters, this season we’re going for chic!
Normally, I would suggest staying steer clear of overzealous fashions, but this season, designers have come up with more refined versions of the traditional holiday sweater.
They’re casual, comfy and considered cool – ideal for days at the office during the season, holiday shopping excursions, a casual holiday party or even a holiday luncheon. I plan to wear mine on Christmas Day!
Pair with jeans, a pencil skirt or leggings.
We all know fashion is fickle, so I highly recommend not spending too much on this trendy trend (believe me, many are super expensive…so keep your eyes open), because who knows what next holiday season will bring!

Luckily, you’re already prepped or at least have some super stylish ideas on what to wear to all the different seasonal gatherings with your work colleagues, family and friends.

Have you heard of vision boards?
You know, those poster, foam or cork boards filled with cut-out images of things you want to have, be or do in your life. The idea is for it to be a visualization tool that helps to manifest your dreams into reality.
A new year is just around the corner, so I thought it would be the perfect time (and super fun!) to start a virtual vision board for our professional style on the job.
I am a firm believer that clothes are a powerful tool in business. We spend so much time and energy and passion engaged in our careers, so why shouldn’t we get all the help we can and use fashion it to its best advantage?!
That’s why I put together a community board on Pinterest. This is a place where you can pin images of how you want to look and feel in your professional life. It will be an on-going, shared, joint effort…a community of women, just like you, who also have a vision.
