Who’s Behind corporatefashionista.com?

My name is Kristina Moore; I’m the founder and editor in chief of Corporate Fashionista. I’ve always had an obsession for fashion. My hobby has always been to keep up with style and design, noting what worked and what didn’t, competitive price points, and how each piece fit not just on the fashion model or the celebrity, but the dynamic professional in the workplace and her/his environment.

Until I realized my passion could be my employment, I worked in corporate finance for several years. During that time, I was exposed to a variety of industries from the casual high tech arena to the more formal environments of banking and legal. I also did a stint as a corporate headhunter in Silicon Valley where I came face to face with how truly effective personal presentation could be.

My mission is to support professionals. Today’s professional woman and man is smart, active, dynamic, dedicated, constrained for time, and understands the impact that personal presentation has from the office to the neighborhood party. I admire, understand, and relate to this expanding group of working professionals. Helping women and men to look, and, consequently, feel their best is my way of making a contribution.

When I am not immersed in all things fashion, working with clients, speaking to groups, contributing to FORBES and other publications, or running this blog, you will find me spending time with family, friends, and engaging in other creative outlets…photography, event planning, painting, crafting, Pilates, travel and more.
