Move over trusted cardi, classic blazer and traditional trench, there’s a new outerwear staple in town. The revival of the denim jacket is one of this summer’s hottest fashion obsessions.
Whether it’s the office air-conditioner blasting or a cool commute breeze, it’s always a good idea to invest in summer outerwear. This season, I highly recommend a denim jacket.
It’s ideal, because you can style it with pretty much any outfit. Of course, savor this trend for after work cocktails, “casual” Fridays or weekends if you work in a strict, conservative field or office. Otherwise, go for it!

Great slideshow and tips. I just might have to take my denim jacket out . . . . I also find denim shirts can be thrown over a lot of summer separates with ease. What about denim vests? Is there a way to use them for casual workplaces?
Absolutely! Just be clear it does give off an even more casual vibe. I recommend pairing with a dress, pencil or a-line skirt, cotton trousers or colored denim jeans. You may even want to try a white denim vest!
