Spring season is here and it’s time to turn once again to our closets! Even though we are focused on warmer temperatures, we would do well as we store our cooler temperature wardrobes to think about some of fall/winter 2010 top trends. Fashion Week has given us an agenda. Designers have just energetically finished creating collections for next year’s cooler season. New York, London and Milan RTW Fashion Week Fall 2010 just ended while Paris has just begun. It has been a mad frenzy for the fashion community!

It is difficult for so many of us to even think about next fall because we are in the midst of mentally transitioning and preparing for the warmer temperatures ahead. So, let’s leave that part to the experts. This trend list diagram will guide you as to which fall/winter pieces should be stored away for next year, which ones should be donated and even, which items to buy right now at bargain prices.

Good news for the professional woman! The major trend coming out of the Fall 2010 Ready-To-Wear Collections is a focus on contemporary iterations of staple pieces. There is a new subtlety sweeping fashion with an obvious emphasis on pragmatic sportswear for the working woman. Modern, clean lines liberated these wearable separates. Some of the trends from this past fall season and a few out this spring will even translate well into the next fall season. This fact obviously reads well for our pocketbooks too. But, it is truly exciting to note the emphasis from designers on the professional woman.
