Famed jewelry designer Kenneth Jay Lane returns to his roots as a shoe designer this Fall. To celebrate Via Spiga’s 25th anniversary, the two powerhouses joined forces to create a limited edition capsule collection. Each style will undoubtedly be bejeweled and bedazzled to the nth degree. Speaking of shoes…actress Halle Berry has just signed up for “Shoe Addicts Anonymous”. No, it’s not a formal group (although it should be for some of us). In Halle’s case, it is a comedy movie to be released in Fall 2011 based on the popular book by Beth Harbison. WWD reports, “It’s more ‘First Wives’ Club’ than ‘Sex and the City,” said producer Mark Bozek of the film, which is about four Chicago women who come together because they’re all obsessed with shoes and wear the same 7.5 size. Sounds fun…count me in!
Sounds like my type of movie! I could so easily join a Shoe Addicts Anonymous group! If I could wear heels, I would definitely be in trouble!
