The ideal spot for a single pendant necklace is mid-menubrium (top part of sternum). A shorter length cuts off our lovely feminine neckline. A longer length works well when going for a sexier vibe. The proper chain length will depend upon circumference of neck, width and length of upper torso plus pendant size. A 16”L will work for some while an 18”L will work better for others.
