Professionals Go Nude On The Job

Actresses, bankers, lawyers, scientists, techies, entrepreneurs, politicians – large numbers of professional women in a variety of fields have taken the plunge and opting to bare-it-all at the office.

This season “nude” nails are the hot ticket beauty trend! Nude colored nail polish can be worn by every gal, anywhere and anytime.

I am always on the look out for my perfect “nude” shade. You know, one that is matte and blends seamlessly with your skin tone, but still has a rich, lush lacquer. The problem has been a limited range of “nude” colors. Thankfully, this die-hard nail trend just got a lot easier with the launch of a new polish line.

Green celebrity nail stylist, Jenna Hipp, and RGB Cosmetics have teamed together to create HIPP x RGB Nail Foundation. This nail lacquer collection consists of four creamy flesh-toned nude shades. The line was created to complement every skin tone from fair to dark. Jenna was inspired by her celebrity clients’ favorite makeup foundations. The results, F1 (cool yellowy beige), F2 (barely there buff), F3 (medium-dark with a hint of gold) and F4 (chocolate with red undertones).

Now, we all have an equal opportunity to go “nude”– day or night. The collection, available at RGBCosmetics, releases this week. Each shade retails for $16 bucks.

What’s your take on this new work beauty trend? Do you think it would be an enhancement of your professional image at the office or elsewhere?

I love nude colored nails too! But I do change it up with more vibrant colors…they’re super fun to wear and can even act as a neutral. I highly recommend them too!
