Kristina, great blog post. I was drawn to your Forbes article about the Girls of Google+ because I am one of those few women the article mentions who is active there. I am loving it and my guess is that since the beta format was invitation only and Google was testing it, the invites went to the tech community which is overrepresented by men. I think it will even out over time. I think it’s format (no limit on post size) and ease of posting videos, photos and links, and the circle concept actually support feminine forms of communicating and connecting. Thanks for sharing.

As for your other links, I am not a fashonista but I like clothes and like to look good and feel good in what I wear. I went to your services page and was thrilled to learn about what you do, especially since you work virtually! I would love to talk to you about what you do.

Laurie – Thanks so much for sharing your insights on the Google+ article. I was thinking the same thing about the invites. Good to know! I’m a newbie myself, so I was thrilled to hear you’ve had such a positive experience with it. Love what you said about, “it supports feminine forms of communicating and connecting”. It makes me want to delve into this platform further.
