Be Fashionably Practical: 25 Classy Pumps With Heels Two And A Half Inches Or Less

Glamour without paying the price?! Is it even possible to find stylish shoes without pain?

Yes, it is!

We don’t have to be Sex and the City‘s Carrie Bradshaw, running down the streets of Manhattan in 5-inch stilettos to pull off great style.

Though I love her line, “I’ve spent $40,000 on shoes and I have no place to live? I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes,” I don’t think we need to break the bank for glamour and add further injury by limping our way to our offices!

Give yourself a break! The reality is when you feel better, you look better. It’s now perfectly acceptable to save your highest heels solely for the weekend.

I decided to take on the challenge of finding fashionable lower heeled shoes, because, I have heard the frustration from all of you busy biz gals trying to find functional closed-toe pumps with heels 2.5-inches or less…ideal for the office, but without sacrificing style.

My results are displayed above. I found the largest selection at Nordstrom and Zappos. Thankfully, each store allows you to sort by heel height. Plus, they both offer free shipping and free returns, so you can easily try as many as pairs you like all in one online order.

You, too, can look and feel just as glamorous at the office, but without the pain!

amen and hallelujah–i was just wondering why it’s so freaking hard to find pumps under 3″. I bought the Cole Haan Chelsea low pump but they run small so had to return. I’d love to see a post like this on booties. and yes, many suffer too much but as I age, i’m getting more picky and demanding about clothing and shoes being stylish and practical.

I am all about the low heel . . . it’s pretty much the only heel I will wear. Otherwise it’s flats. These are great options – thanks for posting!!!

Love this post, but alot of the shoes are a bit pricey. Is it possible for you to do a post featuring equally cute shoes for a lesser price?
